A letter from the atelier
There is an hour, at the end of August, when the light turns to honey. It slants low across the leather in the studio and catches the vachetta of a well-loved Speedy in a way that no morning ever does. This is the edit for that hour.
The pieces this month are chosen for their warmth — Cognac Epi that has watched three decades of summers, camel calfskin structured for the boardroom return, Monogram Eclipse that reads charcoal in daylight and gold at dusk. Nothing loud. Nothing new-season. Everything considered.
We think of August as the last weekend of the light — one more trip, one more dinner outside, one more piece to see it through. This edit is that piece.
